Professional Certificate in Ecotherapy-Informed Practice

This Student Agreement outlines the expectations, responsibilities, and conditions of participation in the Professional Certificate in Ecotherapy-Informed Practice (“the Program”), delivered by EcoPsychology.Co (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By enrolling in the Program, you agree to the following:

 

  1. Educational Purpose

The Program is a professional education and continuing development course.

It is not a licensure program and does not qualify participants to practise as licensed therapists, psychologists, counsellors, or healthcare providers.

Completion of the Program does not grant regulatory status in any jurisdiction.

Participants are responsible for practising within their professional scope and complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

 

  1. Professional Responsibility

You agree to:

  • Apply the knowledge gained responsibly
  • Seek appropriate supervision where required
  • Operate within your competence
  • Prioritise client safety and wellbeing
  • Maintain professional and ethical conduct

You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for how you apply the material in professional or personal settings.

 

  1. No Guaranteed Outcomes

We make no representations or guarantees regarding:

  • employment opportunities
  • business success
  • income generation
  • client outcomes
  • professional recognition

Results depend on many factors outside the scope of the Program.

 

  1. Participation and Conduct

To maintain a safe and respectful learning environment, you agree to:

  • engage respectfully with facilitators and other participants
  • refrain from harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behaviour
  • communicate professionally in all course spaces
  • respect diverse perspectives

We reserve the right to remove participants who violate these standards.

 

  1. Intellectual Property

All Program materials are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may not:

  • reproduce, distribute, or resell course content
  • share login credentials
  • teach the material as your own
  • create derivative training based on this Program
  • upload materials to public platforms

Materials are licensed for your individual use only.

Unauthorised use may result in removal from the Program and legal action where appropriate.

 

  1. Certificate Integrity

Certificates are issued upon successful completion of the Program requirements.

You agree not to:

  • misrepresent the certificate as a clinical qualification
  • imply licensure or regulatory endorsement
  • present yourself as a regulated health professional based solely on this Program

Misuse may result in certificate revocation.

 

  1. Assumption of Risk

The Program may encourage engagement with nature-based activities.

You acknowledge that participation in any physical or outdoor activity is undertaken voluntarily and at your own risk.

You are responsible for assessing your health, safety, environment, and abilities before undertaking such activities.

We are not responsible for injuries, losses, or damages arising from activities conducted outside the online learning environment.

 

  1. Digital Access

Access to the Program is granted for the period specified at enrolment.

We reserve the right to update content to maintain quality and relevance.

Unauthorised sharing of access may result in termination without refund.

 

  1. Refund Policy and Terms

By enrolling, you confirm that you have read and agreed to our:

  • Terms and Conditions
  • Disclaimer
  • Refund Policy

These documents form part of this Agreement.

 

  1. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  • business decisions made based on Program content
  • professional services delivered by participants
  • client outcomes
  • indirect or consequential losses

Nothing in this Agreement excludes rights available under Australian Consumer Law.

 

  1. Agreement

By enrolling in the Program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Student Agreement.
